From sunlight filtering through the trees to the subtle sparkle of water, Maggie tries to capture not just the visual essence of these scenes but the feelings they evoke.

About Maggie Hodges:

Maggie’s passion for the arts began in childhood and continued to grow throughout her life. In high school, she studied drawing, printmaking, and calligraphy, eventually earning a BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design. Her professional career began with design roles at Hasbro and Spalding Sports, followed by a venture in designing and selling children’s clothing. In recent years, Maggie has developed a deep interest in painting, particularly en plein air. She regularly participates in plein air events and is an active member of the Amherst Plein Air Society.
